Who we are
Established in 1981, DGM Joinery Ltd design, manufacture and install bespoke high performance timber windows, door sets and other joinery items for period properties and new developments throughout the South East of England.

Unlike most other joinery companies who handle only one or two aspects of the process, we can manage everything from the design and manufacture right through to factory applied coatings, installation and glazing.

Sustainable, cost effective & safe
The environment is important to us, so we only use wood from sustainable sources where forests are properly managed. All of our timber comes from suppliers that are compliant with the European Union Timber Regulations (EUTR), members of the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) and have signed up to the TTF’s Responsible Purchasing Process (RPP). In addition, our timber suppliers also support timber product certification schemes such as the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
Coming from a sustainable, natural resource, timber windows & doors are carbon negative as opposed to uPVC windows & doors that have a detrimental impact on the environment as a result of their manufacture and use.
Independent research by the Wood Window Alliance (WWA) demonstrates that the 60 year life of timber windows & doors compares very favourably to life of plastic alternatives at just 35 years, levelling out the price difference in favour of timber when you calculate the whole life cost.
